Project Area: The Nederlands Antilles and Aruba
Project description:
The goal of the KidDocs film festival is to introduce young people with documentaries in order to broaden their horizon and their knowledge. The festival tours along various high schools. After the festival 12 students can attend workshops. They learn how to visualize their curiosity and creativity. The workshops are led by film directors. The participants have to do everything on their own. This includes research, making appointments, etc The final result, which is the workshop film, will be shown to the public on the islands.
Since Plan Nederland considers The Nederlands Antilles as part of the Netherlands they decided to support the project.
Project Goal: To broaden the teenagers horizon and to increase future job possibilities
